Oral Presentations

The Clay Conference 2024 features over 100 oral presentations of 20 minutes each, including space for questions and answers. A number of sessions will be held in the plenary hall in the mornings. For some outstanding abstracts there will be offered the opportunity to hold a „highlighted plenary talk“ of 30 minutes. More specialised oral presentations will be given in three parallel sessions each afternoon.

The decision of the programme has been made by the scientific committee and announced to all corresponding authors in July 2024. All oral presentation rooms are equipped with projectors and corresponding laptops to present slides. Please allow time for questions and discussion at the end of your presentation. The recommended slide format is 16:9 landscape for best visualisation of your presentation. Supported file types for presentations are .pptx and .pdf.

All speakers have to submit their presentation files online. To do so please follow the instructions in this manual. We sent an e-mail with the details, including the upload link, to all presenters.

Please note the following important points regarding your presentation:

Duration of your talk:
Please leave at least 5 minutes of your presentation slot for questions/discussion.
Format:
All presentations have to be saved either in Microsoft PowerPoint (pptx format preferred) or as a PDF file 16:9 format (full read/write permissions).
We do not provide a template.
File name:
Please use the following file name format: Day of the presentation_session number_ talk number_name presenter.pptx, i.e. Monday_PS1_001_Muster.pptx,
You will find the number of your presentation in the online Conference Agenda above the title of your contribution in grey. Just enter your name in the search function.
Please upload your presentation on time! Speakers presenting on Monday 25.11.2024 have to submit their presentation by Friday 22nd November 2024, 09:00 am (CET Central European Time). All other speakers have to upload their presentation latest 1 day before the day of the presentation. E.g. if you present on Wednesday, please submit your talk latest by Tuesday morning 09:00 am.
